LOS FELIZ ESTATES
 The Beginnings
Below are some of the original sales materials used by Harlan Lee and Associates in the mid 1960s to sell the homes in their Los Feliz Estates development.

The map at the left showing the location of the Estates and all the fine community facilities nearby such as parks, schools, houses of worship and shopping areas was housed in the orange folder at the right which also contained artist's conceptions of the different home styles and interior floor plans for each of the group of exterior designs. Series W1-200 designs were single story homes with 2268 sq. feet of living area.
Series W1-300 designs came in ranch or modern with 2810 sq. feet of space inside.


Series W1-400 had a choice of New England or Oriental designs with 2867 sq. feet.
Series W2-500 were two story homes... English or "Timeless" styling, with 3371 sq. foot interiors.


Series 320 had four exterior designs, with 3300 sq. foot interiors.
Series 340 also had 4 designs but a bit more space with 3350 sq. feet.
Thanks to Michael Berman for sharing the above materials with us. And thanks to one of our original owners John Ziegler who had the good sense to save this folder after he bought his Los Encantos Way home.
