Los  Feliz Estates Owners Association
2006 LFEOA ELECTION RESULTS

Thanks to the 105 homeowners who participated in the LFEOA's 2006 election, especially those who who attended the December 5th meeting where the votes were tabulated and the following results were announced.

The proposal to increase the annual dues by $770 to fund a doubling of the security patrols was defeated by homeowners with a vote of NO= 58, YES=47.  This means that your dues for 2007 will remain at $1,975, the same as for 2006.

In the balloting for the 2007 Board of Directors:

Bruce Jay - 88 votes
Bruce Carroll - 85 votes
Mimi Ricci - 83 votes
Jack Cohon - 82 votes
Ron Kraft - 82 votes
There was one write-in vote.

Couldn't attend the meeting? Below are snapshots of what you missed.

President Bruce Jay led the annual meeting at which the existing LFEOA Board of Directors was re-elected for 2007. Manager Glenn Purdy, who really does all the work, explained the finances and organized the election using the new secret ballot procedures.

Post Patrol Manager Dennis Mealy and Sgt. Sidney Wyche discuss security, noting the dangers of speeding in the Estates as illustrated by recent accidents, including the unintended, unorthodox parking pictured below.
Irresponsible high speed caused this Cadillac to flip into a front yard of  a Hobart home on December 3rd. The driver and passenger on the right managed to walk away. Hopefully having learned a lesson.

Secretary Bruce Carroll discussed LFEOA legal issues and community affairs. Thanks to Terry Bezjian and Florence Chew for counting the 105 ballots that were cast.

 No hanging chads here!
